Isabella Terrono is pursuing a double major in Political Science and French, with a minor in Human Rights and Conflict Resolution. Her postgraduate plans include law school in preparation for a career in the diplomatic corps. Her experience as a mentor with Commonwealth Catholic Charities has alerted her to the challenges that immigrants face as they are integrated into society, but also their commitment in working to gain their personal freedom and security against overwhelming and increasing prejudice against immigrants in this country and internationally. Through the work of the Reiff Center on Human Rights and Conflict Resolution, she hopes to continue to support and advocate for immigrant initiatives and public policies that ensure that immigrants have equal access to all opportunities and the resources to take advantage of them.
