June Laffey is a senior at Christopher Newport University pursuing bachelor degrees in both political science and environmental studies. She hopes to pursue a career in community outreach for a nonprofit organization. “I view my work as the event coordinator for the Reiff Center as an opportunity to educate the CNU community and the greater Newport News community about the injustices of the past and present. I hope that through the events the Reiff Center hosts, people will recognize that humanity cannot stand idle in situations of injustice.”
