Author: Daniel Falcone

Daniel Falcone is currently a Senior at Christopher Newport University pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in MENA Studies & National Security Studies. He hopes to pursue a career with the Department of State. Daniel’s interest in working for the Reiff Center derives from his belief that human rights are synonymous with democracy. “Humans no matter their ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, or beliefs deserve to be treated with equal protection under the law, and if this is not the case, individuals should be made aware of these practices.” As a research intern for the Reiff Center, he believes it is his duty not only as a citizen, but as a human rights advocate to promote and inform the student populous at Christopher Newport University about human rights around the world.
